Showing just 52,942 kilometers; appears to
have been dry stored for some time; Benelli Quattro 500 project is offered as an
increasingly rare Italian classic requiring recommissioning and
reassembly
Finished in black and showing 52,942
kilometers, this Benelli Quattro 500 project is offered as an increasingly rare
Italian classic requiring recommissioning and reassembly. Manufactured in
Pesaro, Italy, the machine is fitted with engine number 2B1005087 and frame
number 2B111479.
As can be seen from the photographs, the top
end of the engine has been dismantled and is supplied in boxes, presenting an
opportunity for an enthusiast or marque specialist to complete the work and
return the machine to the road. The motorcycle appears to have been dry stored
for some time, with many components presenting well, including the attractive
polished alloy wheel rims, which remain bright and in notably good
condition.
The
Benelli is currently wearing foreign registration plates, believed to be
Spanish, although no registration paperwork is present. As such, buyers should
satisfy themselves regarding registration requirements and any future UK
registration process.
A rewarding restoration project for the Italian
motorcycle enthusiast, this charismatic four-cylinder Benelli offers
considerable potential and would make an interesting addition to any collection
once completed. Rarely encountered in the UK, it represents an excellent
opportunity to acquire a distinctive machine from one of Italy's most famous
motorcycle manufacturers.
Please note: The motorcycle is not currently UK
registered, the engine is partially dismantled, and no overseas registration
documentation is supplied. Prospective purchasers are encouraged to inspect the
machine carefully to satisfy themselves as to its completeness and
condition.
