Extensive service history;
good factory specification; rare forest green metallic; manual; hard and soft
top; one owner car
This 2005 Porsche Boxster S
was first registered in May 2005 and is powered by the desirable 3.2-litre
flat-six engine paired with a manual transmission. Finished in the rare and
elegant Forest Green metallic, the exterior is complemented by a black leather
interior, creating a timeless and understated specification that suits the car
perfectly.
The vendor has owned the car
from new. They purchased it while serving as a diplomat at the British Embassy
in Moscow. The car is fully UK specification and was delivered in July 2005. To
qualify for a tax-free purchase, it was driven in Russia for six months and was
initially registered there as a diplomatic vehicle belonging to the British
Embassy. Once the vendor’s posting ended, the car was brought to the UK in
January 2006 and re-registered with an “05” plate to reflect its original
manufacture date (May 2005) and first registration.
The car benefits
from an extensive service history supported by ten service stamps, evenly
split between Porsche main dealers and respected Porsche specialists. The most
recent service was carried out in July 2025 at 92,784 miles, and the car now
shows a warranted mileage of 94,286 miles. A large history file accompanies the
car, containing receipts for all work carried out, including accident damage
repairs. An MOT is in place until July 2026, and the car has been driven over 30
miles to site, starting, stopping and running exactly as expected for
photography and video purposes.
The bodywork has been treated
with a Gtechniq ceramic coating, enhancing both appearance and long-term
protection. Factory-specified options include bi-xenon headlights, a hardtop
with stand, coloured wheel centres, fully automatic climate control, floor mats,
a fire extinguisher, a BOSE surround sound system with wind deflector, a
six-disc CD autochanger, Porsche Communication Management with satellite
navigation, and a telephone module requiring a SIM
card.
It should be noted that the
vehicle is recorded as a Category S insurance loss dated 19 January 2022,
relating to damage sustained to the offside rear quarter panel and door. This
damage was deemed structurally repairable and has since been fully rectified,
with a photograph showing the vehicle prior to repair included at the end
of the image gallery for transparency.
Overall, this Boxster S
represents a well-specified and carefully maintained example of a modern Porsche
classic, offered in a rare colour combination with long-term ownership and
strong provenance.
