This 2008 Jaguar XJ
Sovereign TDVi is a refined example of Jaguar’s last generation of traditionally
styled luxury saloons, combining timeless design with modern diesel performance.
Finished in elegant silver metallic and complemented by a beautifully appointed
cream leather interior, it presents with the understated presence that has long
defined the XJ name.
Powered by the smooth and
capable 2.7-litre TDVi twin-turbo diesel engine with fuel injection, the car
delivers effortless performance through its six-speed automatic transmission,
making it equally at home on long motorway journeys or relaxed cruising. The
odometer currently displays 102,762 miles and the car has had a total of eight
keepers.
First registered in the UK in
June 2006, the vehicle benefits from an MOT valid until October 2026. A file of
receipts documents servicing and maintenance carried out over the years, with
the most recent oil service completed in May 2023. The car was driven over 30
miles to site and started, drove, and stopped exactly as expected, performing
well during photography and video sessions.
Overall, this XJ
remains in good order for its age and mileage. The interior retains a very
inviting look and feel, with only a minor note that the headlining is beginning
to sag, a common and easily addressed feature on these models, and one that does
little to detract from the overall impression of quality and
comfort.
