Description
Super desirable BMW E46 M3 CS (Club Sport) variant with two-tone
interior; SMG transmission showing just 72,200 miles - investment alert!
Supplied new in March 2006 by Broad Oak BMW this rather rare and
special E46 generation 3-series if of course an M3, but not just ‘any’ M3, it’s
the CS version, or Club Sport.
The CS version, introduced in
2005 sits between the regular E46 M3 and the Hardcore CSL version, offering the
comfort and performance of the standard M3 but featured some of the performance
parts from the CSL including 19inch staggered fitment BBS alloy wheels (8j at
the front and 9.5J at the rear), stiffer springs, quicker steering rack ratio,
Alcantara steering wheel from the CSL, M-Mode for the traction/stability control
as in the CSL, bigger front brake discs and larger rear calliper pistons and
Alcantara hand brake cover.
The engine remains as in the
standard M3, the 3.2 litre S54 six-sylinder engine which develops 338Bhp and
365NM of torque driving the rear wheels via six-speed SMG II sequential manual
transmission with automatic mode with adjustable
change.
This ever so smart car comes
to us from careful, local ownership and has been cherished through our vendor’s
tenure, covering only c.8,000 miles over the last couple of years since purchase
in March 2022.
The car presents beautifully
in Titan Silver with its recently refurbished 19inch alloy wheels and discreet
model related private plate which is included CS54MCS (relating to it being a CS
model with the S54 engine).
Inside, we find a very smart
two-tone black and red leather interior with electric seats (inc. driver
memory), adjustable side bolsters, digital climate control, 3-stage heated
seats, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), on-board computer, stability
control, Sport mode and a retro-fit Alpine audio wide-screen system with reverse
camera (the original unit is included).
The car shows just 72,200
miles and presents beautifully with the accompanying history file including the
V5C showing five former keepers, old V5C, service book showing 10 stamps
including the PDI, the last (oil service) at 71,517 miles in July 2023 by a local independent Mercedes & BMW
Specialist along with two further stamps for brake fluid changes in 2014 and
2022.
In addition, the file includes
a couple of old MOTs, VOSA MOT history, current clean MOT valid until November
2024 and selection of maintenance invoices including a replacement rear ride
height sensor in Nov-23, last service, new brake caliper in Aug-22 and
Inspection 1 service in Jul-22 & brake pressure sensor. Further historic
invoices are also present along with personalized registration
purchase/allocation docs, purchase receipt, Tracker info, M3 CS road tests,
BMW car club info/correspondance, valuations and other
bits.
A pleasingly un-modified
example that looks to be in super order with lower mileage at an attractive
guide and something we think would be an enjoyable investment given the way low
volume M-cars have gone in recent years!
