Lot Ended
Description
Great project with good panel work and most of the interior;
surprisingly complete; the perfect electric conversion??
First
registered OHU 265 on 16th October 1951, this car was originally
Bottle Green. It was a Bristol Aircraft Company demonstrator and was originally
supplied with engine 85C 1914 which was later upgraded to BS1A 115. It was
retained by the factory as a gearbox test-bed and when fitted with the BS
engine, used for sprints and hillclimbs.
It was sold to Dudley Rylett in
around 1970, and passed to Brian by Dudley's son-in-law.
We don't hold
any paperwork for this vehicle, although the registration number OHU 265 is
still recognised on the DVLA database so its new owner should be able to apply
for a replacement V5C in the usual way.
What you see is what you get with
this lot, which could use one of the engines and boxes on offer in the sale on
the 13th or perhaps could get more radical treatment?
