Dating from February
2005 this earlier Mercedes SL350 is of the R230 series and comes to us finished
in Brilliant Silver with desirable Panoramic folding hard-top and sits on its
original seven-spoke 17” alloy wheels.
Under
the bonnet, we find the 3.7 litre M112 V6 petrol engine which develops 242bhp
and 350NM of torque driving the rear wheels via five-speed 5G-tronic
automatic/tiptronic transmission.
Inside, we
find an airy cabin courtesy of the glass Panoramic roof, light grey leather with
electric adjustment, heated memory seats, electric windows, electric mirrors,
multi-function steering wheel with cruise control, parking sensors, automatic
lights and wipers, head lamp wash, dark wood trim, radio/cassette player with CD
changer behind the passenger seat, automatic climate control with AC, cup
holder, on-board trip computer and Panoramic roof blind.
The car shows just 79,063 miles and presents well with a few stains
evident to the interior that may come off with a stout clean and the right
products (as pictured) and was driven to the sale.
The history file includes the V5C showing just three former keepers
to our vendor, the owner’s pack and service book revealing nine stamps, the last
at 76,391 miles in January 2022 by K-Max Ltd of Barnett. The car looks to have spent time in
Dublin looking at the service book with the car showing as having been imported
and UK registered in November 2019.
In
addition, the history file also includes a selection of bills for parts and
maintenance including a £649 spend in June 2022 on rear brake pads, replacement
3rd brake light and new engine mounts plus a service in November 2019
at 63,318 miles and other more historic bills.
The file also includes multiple Irish NCT (MOT) certificates, the
Irish Log book and current MOT, valid until March 2024 recording no
advisories.
This looks to be a nice example
with the desirable Panoramic roof on offer at sensible money with a good history
file.
