Description
Lots of work done over recent years and fresh from an expensive
repaint
Mini Moke finished production at Longbridge in October
1968.
This Moke was built on 26th September 1968 according to the
Heritage Certificate on file, right hand drive of course for the home market and
was shipped off to H.A Hamshaw Ltd of Leicester.
As of August '68, all
Mini's and variants were fitted with all syncromesh gearboxes and this Moke
benefits from this.
Bidders are advised that in June 1999, this car was
listed as a Cat D on the insurance register - prior to its
restoration.
In recent years, mainly 2020, it has had a lot of
mechanical expenditure (including new clutch, rebuilt dynamo, steering rack,
plugs and points etc, battery, track rod ends and more) and benefits from a
fresh repaint in its original Spruce Green.
