Description
Exceptionally pretty earlier DB9 Coupe showing just 44,101 miles with
beautiful aubergine interior and wonderful V12 bark
Supplied new by Aston Martin Sales of Mayfair in August 2004, this
super-sleek DB9 is an earlier example and finished in delightful sage Green and
sits upon its original 19” 10-spoke alloy wheels.
Under the bonnet, we find the 5.9-litre AM11 V12 engine which was
similar to that found in the Vanquish and developed 450bhp and a whopping 570NM
of torque driving the rear wheels here via six-speed ZF automatic transmission
with paddles behind the steering wheel. Performance was impressive, with sixty
hit in just 4.7 seconds and a top speed of 186mph.
Inside this car, we find the typical 2+2 layout and Aubergine
colour leather trim which looks wonderful along with wood trim. In addition, the front seats are
electric and also heated with lumbar adjustment. In the centre console, we find the glass
starter button along with automatic drive selection (P R N D) the stereo
controls (we were unable to switch this on) along with digital climate control
switchgear as well as the usual electric windows, mirrors, parking sensors,
heated front and rear screens, Sport mode and cruise
control.
This DB9 shows just 44,101 miles
covered by the current and four former keepers and looks very sharp with an
undeniably V12 exhaust bark. The
history file incudes the V5C, the owner’s manual with service section recording
some 16 stamps, many of which by Aston Martin main dealers or AM Works – the
last in June 2019 by Welsh Porsche Specialists at 41,878
miles.
Furthermore, we also find a file of
supporting maintenance invoices along with 10 old MOTs and the current, valid
until March 2024 which recorded no advisories.
Looking very smart indeed, this svelte DB9 Coupe packs a lot of
punch, luxury, pace and glamour for its appealing estimate.
