Description
Ex 45 Commando Royal Marines; gained historic vehicle class last year;
serviced in June 2022 which included new carburettor
Manufactured in 1980, this well sorted Lightweight was first
registered as KNN 332V in 2002, although is classed as an historic vehicle and
is therefore tax and MOT exempt.
Originally attached to 45 Commando Royal Marines, it was released
from the MoD in 1998 (registered as 19 HF 93). This is confirmed within the
paperwork, which also states the mileage then to have been
47,718.
Regularly put through an MOT over the
following years (its last in 2019 at 58,895 miles), it was fitted with a
replacement second hand differential to the rear axle in 2009, new battery and
some wiring corrections in 2014 and we are informed by the vendor that it was
treated to a service in 2022, when a new carburettor was fitted and the door
mirrors were replaced.
Now showing almost
60,000 miles, she is equipped with pickaxe and shovel of course and should be
ready for the road, would look great at shows and could become part of an
exciting military collection somewhere.
