Supplied new by pon’s Automobielhandle B.V of Leusden, Holland in
March 2000, this tidy 986 Generation of Porsche Boxster is finished in Zenith
Blue (L3AX) with Blue Mohair hood and freshly replaced plastic rear screen and
sits upon its original five-spoke 16” alloy wheels.
Sat in the middle of the Boxster, we find the 2.7-litre M96
flat-six engine which develops 217bhp driving the rear wheels via five-speed
automatic transmission which offers a 0-60mph time of 7.2 seconds and top speed
of 152mph.
The options sticker for this car
shows the following options to have been selected (in addition to the standard
spec including electric driver’s seat) – seat heating left (139), stronger
batter (197), stronger starter motor (198), tiptronic transmission (249), seat
heating right (340), CD compartment (424), tiptronic buttons for the steering
wheel (432), radio preparation (441), top-tinted windscreen (567), charcoal
filter (571), automatic air conditioning (573), park assist (635), leather dash
and door panels (981) and leather seats (983) finished in Metropol Blue
(EJ).
The car shows just 72,800 miles and
presents beautifully with just a couple of minor marks as pictured with a smart
roof, new rear screen and very presentable interior too, starting instantly,
running as it should and was driven to the sale.
The history file includes the V5C revealing just two former keepers
to our vendor who has enjoyed the car lightly over the past five and a half
years, the owner’s pack and service book recording 11 service stamps, the last
in 2021 at 70,008 miles by Colwall motor Services. In addition, the service book
shows another three stamps for brake fluid changes and one for long life
condition report checks.
The file also includes
a selection of supporting invoices, two old MOTs plus the current MOT, valid
until April 2024 which recorded no advisories. Recent invoiced works of note include
the replacement rear screen in June this year, a £594 spend in April 2023 on
replacement lower arm and ARB link plus wheel alignment, and, major service plus
replacement AC condenser, drier, brake fluid and belts in
2018.
Ready to be enjoyed, this is a smart, low
owner, lower mileage Boxster with a nice spec and good engine
choice.
