No. 8 of just 35 special 35th 
Anniversary editions built based on the Vogue SE, all with distinct Claret 
exterior and Claret/Jet interior with supercharged JLR 4.2 V8 under the 
bonnet
Supplied new by Medway Land Rover of Kent in April 
2006 this Special Edition L322 series Range Rover is a 35th Anniversary model 
and is Number 8 of just 35 built to this specification to celebrate 35 years of 
the Range Rover model.
All, as here are finished in Claret with two-tone 
Claret and Jet (black) interior and all feature the potent 4.2-litre 
supercharged V8 engine developing 400bhp driving all four wheels via six-speed 
automatic/tiptronic transmission.
Inside, we find an enhanced Vogue SE 
spec including body matching Claret leather electric heated front seats, rear 
heated seats, colour coded Claret lambswool over mats, heated steering wheel and 
rear entertainment with Harman Kardon sound system, parking sensors and rear 
mounted reversing camera and cost some £85,000 when new.
The history file 
includes the V5C revealing six former keepers, the Claret leather owner’s pack 
with manuals and service book recording 11 service stamps, nine of which are by 
Guy Salmon Land Rover main dealers, more recently two by the same independent, 
Longhope Motor Services of Longhope, in July 2019 at 132,508 miles and most 
recently again in Oct/Dec 2022 which was a lube service including 
gearbox oil, tranny lube, new battery, new wipers and new handbrake shoes - 
the car currently showing 148,761 miles.
In addition, the file includes 
12 old MOTs plus the most recent MOT valid until October 2023 without advisory 
plus a selection of bills for parts and maintenance including replacement air 
suspension compressor, used reversing camera and used Bluetooth module in April 
this year at a cost of £800, plus a further £1492 spent in August 2019 on an 
alloy wheel refurb, five new tyres and fitment of side steps (which have been 
subsequently removed) and £860 in March 2021 on a new tailgate seal and 
pair of air suspension shock absorbers and £531 on a new alternator in August 
2020.
Looking smart and appealing in its Limited Edition colours this 
35th Anniversary Range Rover is a rare car and looks mighty 
tempting.
