Forever cool lady owned 1.6 Cooper
Convertible with manual 'box; late model MkI - ideal Spring
fun
Supplied new by Nick Whale Mini in July 2007
this funky late model MkI R52 series Mini Cooper Convertible is finished in
bright red with black Mohair hood, black trim and rides on its original
five-spoke 15” alloy wheels.
Under the bonnet,
we find the familiar 1.6 litre petrol engine which develops 114bhp and 149NM of
torque driving the front wheels via five-speed manual
transmission.
Inside the airy cabin, we find
two-tone black and red cloth seats, electric windows, electric mirrors, original
radio/CD player, front fog lights, air conditioning and of course the electric
roof with ‘sunroof’ option where it partially retracts acting as a
sunroof.
The car shows 94,549 miles and looks
well, but would no doubt benefit from a really good valet. The history file includes the V5C
revealing just three former keepers to our lady owner, the service booklet
showing six stamps, the last at 82,933 miles by IT Cars, plus a further three
stamps for coolant and brake fluid changes, three old MOTs as well as the
current new MOT valid until March 2024 recording three minor
advisories.
Our vendor tells us she recently
spent c.£700 on new discs and pads all round as well as inner CV boots, front
top mounts, battery and a new thermostat housing at VAG specialist in Worcester but has
mislaid the bill.
Ready to be enjoyed, roof up
or roof down in the Spring sunshine this forever cool Mini Cooper is on offer at
No Reserve so the highest bid takes it away.
