1961 Citroen Fourgonnette AZU

425cc; UK Registered; easy project of a delightful van; spare door included

Taking the genius of the 2CV and adding a bit more more space behind, the Fourgonnette sold in significant numbers, being tough, reliable and extremely cheap to run.

This one comes with nothing in the way of history and was purchased by the vendor in 2021 for electric conversion, although she has now thought better of the idea.

Requiring a bit of TLC, it is delightfully original, complete and looks to have had some new hammock type seat covers added so it has had some love in the near past. There is a pretty good spare door in the back and a headlight bar.

Since arrival, a borrowed 6volt battery has had it fired up and we have been driving it about, the first time for some time we suspect.

This car is worth close inspection.
