Description
1997 Land Rover 2.5 TDi Wolf
First in service
in April 1997; at least six other owners since; showing to have been regularly
maintained and covered 129,631 kilometres; decent tyres and lots of maintenance
records; no VAT on vehicle
This may be a military spec Land Rover although it has now been in
private hands for considerably longer than it was with the
MoD.
Having been originally entered into service in 1997, it appears to
have left the army in 2003 and a short time later being registered with the DVLA
in 2005. Showing only 23,000km in 2006, it appears to have had an MOT almost
every year since (according to the online database), gradually rising to the
current 129,621km.
Our vendor appears to be the 7th owner since the MoD and
records on file go back to at least 2013/2014 when the car was waxoyed, new
locks and keys were fitted, brakes overhauled and new tyres put
on.
Lots
of work took place in 2015, when the Wolf was sold for £12,800 – after a full
service including cam belt followed by new radiator, hoses, thermostat and
expansion tank to solve a coolant issue.
Further services in 2016, 2017,
2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 complete a pretty comprehenive bundle of paperwork
with the car. The most recent taking place at Land Rover specialists Jedi 4x4,
which included replacing drive belt and tensioner, the rear cross member cover
and waxoying where necessary.
Current MOT until October 2023 with
no advisories.
