Description
1967 Riley Elf MkIII
Well presented luxury
Mini variant; lots of bills; great to drive - easy to park - cheap to
run
This bright little Riley Elf lists seven previous keepers on the
V5C and comes with bills to show considerable expenditure in and around
2015.
Its then owner stated that in the not-too-distant past, it had
already received new front wings, A-panels, sills and rear subframe mounts. It
also had a new rear subframe, stainless exhaust and a full respray. They
also mentioned new drive shaft oil seals.
On top of this, later invoices
from Minis-R-Us shows further work and maintenence, with bills adding to more
than £1,000. There are two factory workshop manuals also on file.
The car
presents well and looks to be in nice usable condition without the stigma of
being a 'Show Queen'. Its last MOT expired as recently as April this year and
there are a number of tickets on file suggesting a recent speedo change -
the overall mileage remaining unknown.
These upmarket little Minis are
great to drive and simple to own, the added bootspace and luxury fittings making
them even more appealing than the original Issigonis design.
