Description
1990 Isuzu Elf Camper
Originally an unused
Japanese Mobile Health Centre; professionally converted in 2009 to a camper
costing £10,000; showing less than 9,000 miles since new; proper adventure
package; lusty 3.6-litre diesel
First
manufactured in Japan as a Mobile Health Centre in 1990, we are told it was
never put into use, giving credence to the vendor's belief that the
indicated 12,550km are
correct.
It was imported and registered in the
UK in 2009 and then sent to Affordable Van Conversions
in Somerset who transformed it into the camper you see today.
This cost the its then owner a total of £10,000, which included full
electrical tests.
Appearing to have four
previous owners in the UK before our vendor, it has had an extraordinary number
of facilities squeezed inside it. This includes the fridge, Smev oven and hob,
water heater, shower, sink, loo and Zig caravan battery charging system. Most,
if not all of these items appear to be unused. (Oven might have had a meal made
in it!)
As can be seen in the photos, there is
lots of cupboard storage, handy lighting, sleeping/dining areas and the
upholstery in the front and back looks to have had very little use.
The
V5 lists it as a 'Motor Caravan'.
The external
condition is perhaps not as good as the interior and maybe could do with a
little tidying up, but parked up by a Scottish loch, you will have plenty
of time for things like this as you enjoy the view.
Extensive original Japanese wiring diagrams are included in the
file alongside all the relevant UK papers and the most recent MOT valid until
August 2023 showing no advisories.
