1973 Mini Clubman

Family owned from new; 1,275cc; driven 40 miles to the sale

This smart Clubman was acquired passed to the vendor from his father in 1987 and has been in regular use since.

The old MOTs point to a stuck odometer in the late '90s, a replacement unit being fitted in around 2000 since when it has averaged about 1,000 miles per year - the overall total is unknown.

Bills on file show some panel repairs in 2014/5, a new rear subframe in 2016, work to the front hubs in 2019 and a new brake servo and replacement steering column this year. It has had a Halogen headlight upgrade, carries twin spots on the front and a few extras to make it look more like a 1275GT, including the racing stripes and two tone orange and silver paintwork.

The vendor's father purchased it new, the car then moving to the son, and shown as a change of owner on the logbook some 35 years ago..

Driven some 40 miles to the sale, it is ready to go and looks great value for one of these charismatic Clubmans, which have been rolling right into fashion of late...
