Supplied new through Sytner BMW of High Wycombe in May 2005 this LCI (face-lift) 730D SE features the updated front and rear design with new lights and improved iDrive system along with improved engine performance and efficiency.

Finished in attractive Kalahari Beige Metallic the car looks nigh on unmarked, rare for a 17 year old car – however, this attractive E65 generation 7-series has covered just 13,691 miles in the hands of its two owners.

The first owner used the car infrequently when in the country covering just 11,000 miles in his 14 year tenure until our vendor, the second owner, acquired the car in December 2019 covering the rest through his time with the car.

An attractive example in a desirable colour scheme, the car sits upon its original 18” multi-spoke alloy wheels and inside we find acres of soft beige leather with a host of electric adjustment for both front seats, iDrive sat nav and multimedia centre, multi-zone climate control with AC, CD changer, phone, cruise control etc etc – the usual high spec of a 7-Series.

Under the bonnet, we find BMW’s excellent 3.0 litre six-cylinder M57D30TU2 turbo-diesel engine which develops 228Bhp and a whopping 520NM of torque (enough for the sprint to sixty mph in 7.8 seconds) driving the rear wheels via six-speed ZF automatic transmission with column shift.

The history file includes the V5C recording just two owners, the owner’s pack and service book revealing four stamps, the last in December 2019 at 10,997 miles by Autobarn of Hyde Heath, Bucks which in addition to the major service included a brake fluid change, new fuel pipe and replacement NSF lower suspension arm at a cost of some £835. A few other invoices are on file for a replacement parking sensor in January 2022 costing £458 and annual MOT tests of which there are two old certificates on file in addition to the current MOT, valid until November 2022 recording just one advisory for the OSR tyre showing signs of cracking.

Ready to be enjoyed, you’ll struggle to find another E65 with such low mileage and it is on offer at an enticing estimate - a mere fraction of its cost when new.
