2008 Alfa Romeo GT JTS Cloverleaf

Rare Cloverleaf version with factory bodykit, 18" alloys and leather interior showing under 67,367 miles, covered by 4 owners in desirable Atlantico Blue

Supplied new by Thames Motor Group of Tunbridge Wells in June 2008 this Type 937 Alfa GT is a later model finished in desirable Atlantico Blue. It sits on 18" alloys which were specific to the Limited Edition Cloverleaf version and were only available between 2008 and 2010 when the GT was discontinued.

Under the bonnet, we find Alfa’s proven 2.0-litre 16v JTS engine with direct injection (as found in the popular 159 range) developing 163bhp and 206NM of torque driving the front wheels via 5-speed manual transmission. As a Cloverleaf, we also see lowered suspension and discreet bodykit which accentuates the lovely Bertone lines. Inside, there are deeply bolstered black leather seats, digital climate control with AC, trip computer, Bluetooth parrot, BOSE sound system and radio CD with Mp3 facility and seating for 4 with a useful hatchback boot offering a susprising luggage capacity.

Within the history file we find the owner’s pack and service book revealing 10 stamps, the last at 66,197 miles in October 2020. The car currently shows 67,367 miles which looks to be correct given the vehicle history and 9 accompanying MOTs. The vendor purchased the car from Brightwells in October 2021 and is only offering it for sale again, due to a sudden house (with no gargage...) move. It comes with a new keeper's slip section of the V5C.

In addition, we find a selection of parts and maintenance invoices, club magazines and the current MOT valid until October 2022 with just 2 advisories noted for wear to a rear tyre edge and handbrake performance. Invoices of note include a timing belt service in May 2020 including the water pump and tensioners. 

What appears to be the original gear knob is in the glove box and 4 spare wheel nuts plus locking wheel nut key are in the boot. We believe that the car is both ULEZ compliant and also complies with the Clean Air Zone in places like Birmingham and Bath – useful going forwards in this ever increasingly ‘Green’ world.

Ready to be enjoyed, this high spec desirable GT coupe offers the new owner economy with sporting dynamics and rarity as the Cloverleaf variant with low miles. An interesting Modern Classic for sure.
