2000 Honda CB600F Hornet

Owned from new by Pink Floyd drummer, Nick Mason; only 8,007 miles; GIVI top box; signed copy of 'Into The Red' First Edition included 

This CB600F Hornet was bought new by Pink Floyd drummer, Nick Mason, from Tippetts of Surbiton in September 2000 and he has kept it ever since. With 94bhp on tap, it was the perfect sporting machine to whisk this accomplished race car driver and collector between his homes in London and the Cotswolds, with a handy GIVI top box to keep his helmet and drum sticks safe while parked in the City.
It has covered only 8,007 miles from new with 17 old MOTs on file to chart the gradual accumulation of mileage, the current MOT running until February 2022 with no advisories recorded. The original service book is present but only has one stamp for a PDI check on delivery, although there are also two invoices for services in August 2011 at 4,848 miles and again in May 2016 at 6,054 miles.
Always kept garaged when not in use and in very good condition throughout, it also comes with a First Edition copy of ‘Into The Red’, signed by Nick Mason himself. This leather bound limited edition book is lavishly illustrated with photographs of 21 of the famous racing cars that the celebrated drummer is fortunate enough to own, with text by Nick Mason on what drew him to the cars in the first place, and a wonderfully seat-of-the-pants account of what they are like to drive at the limit by professional race driver and instructor, Mark Hales.
