1968 Sunbeam Alpine Series V

From a deceased estate; recent paint and interior; comes with a factory hard top; will need a light recommission to get it back on the road; Minilite style wheels; one of the last 300 Alpines made

One of the last 300 Alpines to leave the production line, this 1968 Series V was purchased by the vendor's late husband in 2011. He decided to give it a thorough renovation, including fresh paint in its original shade of Carnival red, which has all-but been completed.

Invoices on file cover the usual parade of items needed for reassembly, such as door seals, pedal rubbers, sidelight and body rubbers etc. The car has had new carpets and door cards as well as freshly retrimmed seats. The interior is now very smart.

A new vinyl hood has also been added and the car sits on a set of Minilite style wheels. It had a brake overhaul in 2017 with new hoses and cylinders and is now very nearly ready for the road.

We have not had it running since it has been onsite and it is now over a year since it was last started, but the final few yards to completion should take but a few weekends work.

The car comes with a current V5C and a file of invoices for the parts used during its renovation. It also comes with a handy factory hard top and looks excellent value at the suggested guide price.
