the suspension and brakes; MOT and Tax Exempt; Driven to site over 20 miles; In
2018 the cylinder head was removed for a skim and valve

A particularly well-presented Series
IIA with just three previous owners in total. The Land Rover underwent a
ground-up restoration in 2016, including the fitting of a galvanised chassis and
bulkhead.
Purchased from Brightwells in September
2017, the original sale catalogue entry is included with the photographs and
details many of the new parts used during the restoration.
During the current ownership, the Land Rover has been used regularly
for short local journeys and around the vendor’s smallholding, with the first
three years seeing daily use. In 2018 the cylinder head was removed for a skim
and valve decoke, while the braking system was replaced in 2021. More recently,
within the last two months, a further £1,101 has been spent on the suspension
and brakes.
The speedometer currently shows
34,498 miles, although this cannot be verified. The Land Rover is MOT and road
tax exempt.
Driven over 20 miles to our site, it
started, drove and stopped as expected for photography and a short
video.
