What looks to be a rare Stuart Turner Type R3M single-cylinder, 1½HP water-cooled two-stroke marine petrol engine dating from the 1930s; Fitted with the distinctive mechanical "banjo" water pump and centrifugal clutch, this heavily built British engine was designed to power small river launches, pleasure boats and amusement park craft; Produced in relatively small numbers, the R3M is now highly sought after by collectors, vintage marine engine enthusiasts and wooden boat restorer;.
