3.2L V6 DSG Quattro; instantly recognisable
iconic design; sure fire future classic
First shown as a concept in 1995, the Audi TT
quickly became one of the most recognisable designs of its era, reaching
production in 1998 with styling that remained remarkably faithful to the
original show car. Its clean Bauhaus-inspired lines, compact proportions
and high-quality interior helped establish it
as a modern icon.
The later 3.2-litre V6 model, introduced in 2003,
added a welcome dose of performance and character, pairing the naturally
aspirated VR6 engine with Audi’s DSG gearbox and Quattro
four-wheel drive, making it the most
desirable variant of the Mk1 range.
A well-presented and entirely standard
example of the 3.2-litre TT, this 2004 car is finished
in Misano Red with full black leather interior and shows 95,397 miles. It
remains in notably original condition throughout, clearly having been well cared
for.
The
paintwork retains a deep shine with no significant marks, dents or scratches,
and the interior is equally tidy with minimal wear to the leather and no
evidence of smoking. Electrical functions operate correctly, including the
instrument cluster (a known weak point on these cars), air conditioning and
heated seats.
Mechanically the vendor reports that the car is
reported to start and run cleanly with no smoke, no fluid usage and no
timing-chain noise. On the road it drives
faultlessly, pulling strongly through the DSG gearbox with smooth, almost
imperceptible shifts. It feels tight and free from unwanted knocks or rattles,
suggesting careful ownership and sympathetic use.
The car is accompanied by a comprehensive
stamped service history, including Haldex and DSG servicing at appropriate
intervals, with recent expenditure on brakes, alternator and routine
maintenance. Timing chain values have been checked via VCDS and remain within
accepted tolerances. MOT is valid until May 2026. The personal registration
number remains with the car.
Supplied with its V5C, owner’s manuals,
original Audi wallet and two working remote keys. The numberplate S14 BKC is
included in the sale.
A smart, unmodified and increasingly
hard-to-find example of the 3.2 V6 TT,
offered in a striking colour and ready for immediate
use.
