Elegant
two-tone Silver/Grey with contrasting Black leather; extensive work exceeding
£11,000 was carried out in 2022; driven over 150 miles to our premises without
issue.
Introduced
in spring 1998, this very early Bentley Arnage Green Label was purchased new
from P & A Wood in May of that year, although it was not registered until
April 2000.
Finished in
an elegant two-tone Silver/Grey with contrasting Black leather upholstery, the
car has recently benefited from a full wheel
refurbishment.
Notable
features include a Bentley car phone integrated into the rear armrest and twin
umbrellas in the boot, both new and unused.
Purchased in
2022 by Mr. Barrie Carter, the car was immediately entrusted to specialists to
bring it to top condition. Following a detailed condition report, work exceeding
£11,000 was carried out, resulting in a superb example that has recently been
driven over 150 miles to our premises without issue.
The car is
accompanied by receipts and invoices for previous work, five old MOT
certificates, and ten service-book stamps, the most recent in 2022 at 70,320
miles.
Please note
that after speaking with the vendor, we have learnt that a replacement
speedometer was installed around 2022, showing a mileage of approximately 74,000
miles due to issues with the original unit. This means the cars true mileage is
now roughly 115,500 miles, although you wouldn’t be able to tell by its
condition.
While on
site we have noticed that the electric windows can be temperamental, sometime
difficult to go back up, as common in cars of this age it may be due to battery
being low.
Overall, the
Bentley presents very well for its age and mileage. A small amount of bubbling
on a couple of wheel arches is beginning to appear, although it does little to
detract from the car’s impressive overall appearance.
