1932 Riley 9 Monaco
Sound and original example
on offer from a deceased's estate; for light
recommissioning
First registered in July 1932, this nicely presented
Monaco has been in the hands of the vendor's late father since 2009.
He acquired it from a local gent, who had owned if for four years and prior to
that and its old style V5 indicates that it had lived in the area before
then.
We don't know too much about it. The car was being worked on
recently, with what look like rebuilt carbs and recent work under the bonnet,
which was off the car when collected.
The engine turns freely and it has
been used relatively recently. It was MOTd in 2012 and retains its lovely
original interior and sound coachwork.
The file includes a handbook,
copy maintenance book and instruction book, as well as original copies of the
Riley Instruction book and a spare parts catalogue.
It looks to us like
an easy project to recommission and would make a willing, snug and useful
addition to any fleet.
