Supplied new by Harrogate Horseless Carriages TVR agents in January 1999 this face-lift TVR Chimaera 400 features the 240bhp 4.0 litre Rover V8 which drives the rear wheels via 5-speed manual transmission.

Finished in a very attractive hue of deep red, the car sits on its original 5-spoke 15inch alloy wheels and wears a black Mohair roof with removable Targa section.

Inside, we see cream leather interior in super order with body colour matching carpets and door sections with cream leather centre console, dash top and walnut trim.

The history file includes the V5C showing just 5 former keepers to our current of 14 years who have covered just 56,357 miles, our vendor covering just under 6,500 miles of that during his tenure.

The car has seen only limited summer use, as the vendor lives and works in Italy for part of the year or longer sometimes, the car residing in a temperature controlled bubble when not in use at his home in West Wales.
