2000 Alfa Romeo Spider 2.0 Twin Spark
No
Reserve
Sexy phase II 2.0 Spider in black with red and black
interior showing 96,000 miles and an MOT until June 2021
Dating from July 2000, and supplied new via Centro of
Dusseldorf, Germany this Phase II Spider is one of just 710 Spiders built that
year and as such is a rare old thing. Finished in Nero with a lovely two-tone
Nero and Rosso leather interior the car looks very sexy sat on its original
alloy wheels, the Pininfarina design still sharp and eye-catching to this
day.
Powered here by the 2.0 TwinSpark 16v engine, it develops 148bhp,
more than enough to zip it along nicely, with zest and a lovely and very Alfa
twin cam engine and exhaust note. This topless model has covered just over
96,000 miles and has plenty of life left in her yet and would no doubt be ideal
for a post Covid-19 jaunt to Brittany for example. The roof is a simple manual
affair stowing neatly under the rear deck and looks even more striking as a
design with the roof lowered.
In the history file we find a V5C showing
three previous owners, the current, a lady, for some 14 years since March 2006,
a clean MOT running until June 2021, service book showing 4 stamps, the last at
79,734 miles in March 2006 and hand written note confirming timing belt changed
at 65,000 miles but no supporting invoice.
Great value and an alternative
choice to the usual MX5 or Z3 option. Be different, be bold.
