This 2015 Land Rover Defender
110 XS TD is a desirable final-year, two-owner example that benefits from a high
specification, incorporating many of the sought-after features of the Landmark
Edition together with a number of genuine factory-fitted
accessories.
The XS specification includes
seven leather seats (including two folding rear seats), heated front seats, air
conditioning, colour-coded bodywork, alpine roof windows, side runners, privacy
glass and an upgraded stereo system. Ordered new with additional factory
options, it also features the distinctive black contrast roof, premium interior
trim, full carpeting and headlining, cubby box, upgraded sound system with
subwoofer, and a full set of carpet mats complemented by genuine Land Rover
rubber overmats.
Factory accessories include a
genuine Land Rover expedition roof rack with rear access ladder, electric tow
bar with drop plate, Land Rover mudflaps and additional Defender rubber floor
mats throughout. A bespoke bike rack mount is also available separately. The
interior remains in very good order, retaining its original features and
presenting well throughout.
The service history comprises
a full Land Rover main dealer record up to 2020, with the vendor advising that
servicing has continued with a Land Rover specialist from 2021 onwards,
including a service completed in August 2025 (although no invoice is present for
this). The MOT is valid until November 2026 and there are eight previous MOT
certificates on file, covering every year from 2018 through to
2025.
More recently, the Defender
has benefited from an extensive programme of cosmetic refurbishment and
preventative maintenance. The chassis and underside have been sandblasted,
refinished and treated with Lanoguard, while the side steps have been
refurbished. The centre floor and rear arch carpets have been renewed where
required, with the remaining carpets professionally cleaned. The seats were
removed to allow the seat tracks and brackets to be refurbished and repainted,
and the centre section of the second-row floor has been replaced. Stainless
steel door edge protectors have also been fitted.
Mechanically and
electrically, broken wiring to all doors has been repaired to restore the
central locking system, a front heater blower deflector has been fitted, and a
new fuel filter installed. Externally, the Defender has been further enhanced
with a new front bumper incorporating auxiliary lights, a wide rear step, LED
lighting all round, freshly powder-coated wheels with matching new wheel nuts,
new mirrors and mirror arms, replacement door and rear hinges where required,
and new front and rear wipers. The roof, plastic trims, side steps, rear
crossmember, mirrors, wiper arms and hinges have all been refinished in
Santorini Black to complement the contrast roof, while the front wings, offside
wing top, rear side panels and rear corner panels have also been repainted. The
engine bay has been thoroughly detailed, with the radiator, cooling fan and
associated components refinished in black. Numerous additional improvements have
also been carried out, including replacing corroded fixings and refinishing
smaller brackets and components throughout.
The Defender was
driven to Brightwells under its own power and has remained in regular use until
recently. A particularly smart and well-cared-for example of the iconic
final-year Defender, offering desirable factory upgrades, extensive recent
refurbishment and impressive presentation throughout, making it an excellent
choice for both enthusiasts and collectors alike.
