Restoration completion
project; workshop manual included; two history files; pop up roof
The first-generation Ford
Transit has become a true British motoring icon and is now an increasingly rare
sight, making restoration projects such as this highly sought
after.
First registered in December
1972, this Ford Transit Camper Project is powered by a 1,663cc petrol engine
with a manual transmission and is finished in white. Having had eight former
keepers, the restoration was started several years ago with the vehicle stripped
and preparation work commenced, but the project was never completed. Having been
off the road for several years, it is offered as a non-runner and will require
restoration and recommissioning.
Included in the sale is a
workshop manual together with two folders of receipts and historical paperwork.
An excellent opportunity to acquire an increasingly desirable early Transit
camper project with plenty of potential for its next
owner.
