into Porsche ownership, the 986 Boxster has seen a marked rise in appreciation
in recent years as enthusiasts recognise it for the engaging sports car it has

flat-six engine, a six-speed manual gearbox and uprated brakes and suspension,
giving it a noticeably sharper and more rewarding driving experience.

an impressive service history, boasting a remarkable 27 service stamps, 23 of
which are from Porsche main dealers. This is further supported by an extensive
history file containing invoices far too numerous to list individually,
including over £5,000 spent on maintenance at Porsche alone. Quite possibly one
of the best-maintained 986 Boxster’s on the market today.
Furthermore, the car benefits from an extensive factory
specification, including Porsche crest embossed head restraints, a three-spoke
steering wheel, cruise control, Hi-Fi sound package and automatic climate
control, to name but a few. It also appears to have been fitted with the
desirable Porsche Tequipment aluminium gear lever and handbrake, a sought-after
period accessory.
Overall, this Boxster presents
in smart and honest condition. The Arctic Silver Metallic paintwork retains an
excellent depth of shine and is complemented perfectly by the original 17-inch
'Twist' alloy wheels and contrasting red brake callipers. As expected of a car
that has clearly been enjoyed over its 25 years, there are a handful of minor
cosmetic imperfections, all of which are shown in the accompanying photographs.
Nevertheless, these do little to detract from what is an exceptionally
well-presented and eminently usable example.
Starting and driving around site for photography and video exactly as
one would expect from such a meticulously maintained Porsche, this desirable
Boxster S represents a rare opportunity to acquire a particularly well-specified
