Great
factory specification; 3.2 V6; showing just 117,942 miles; BRABUS wheels, body
kit and exhaust; MOT valid until December 2026
First registered in January 2004, this well-specified 2004
Mercedes-Benz CLK 320 (W209) offers refined V6 performance, classic early-2000s
Mercedes styling, and a strong list of desirable factory options. Finished in
elegant Ice Blue Metallic over a black leather interior, the car presents as a
smart and distinctive coupe that blends comfort, luxury and everyday
usability.
Powered by a 3,199cc V6 engine paired
with an automatic transmission, the CLK 320 is renowned for its smooth power
delivery and relaxed grand-touring character. This example has covered 117,942
miles as currently displayed on the odometer and has had five former keepers in
total, with the current owner having acquired the vehicle in August 2022. When
new, the car carried a list price of approximately £39,650, reflecting its
premium positioning within the Mercedes-Benz range at the
time.
The specification includes a number of
factory options that enhance both comfort and convenience. These include an
electric glass sunroof, Keyless Go, Parktronic parking system (PTS), automatic
climate control, parameter steering and sport suspension. Additional features
include metallic paint, an electric rear roller blind, front and rear cupholders
and a CD changer, creating a well-equipped environment typical of Mercedes’
luxury coupes of the period.
Adding to its visual
presence, the car has been fitted with BRABUS wheels, body kit and exhaust,
giving the CLK a more purposeful and distinctive appearance compared with a
standard example. Prospective buyers should note that one of the wheel rims
appears to be bent.
The car benefits from an MOT
valid until December 2026. It was driven approximately 15 miles to the auction
site and started, stopped and drove as expected during the short movements
required for photography and video. The service book contains nine service
stamps, with the most recent entry recorded in March 2016 at 77,773 miles. The
original handbooks are present with the vehicle.
As is common with Mercedes-Benz models of this era, there is visible
rust to the wheel arches, something potential bidders should expect and inspect
accordingly. Nevertheless, this CLK 320 remains an attractive opportunity to
acquire a stylish V6 coupe with desirable options and tasteful BRABUS
enhancements, well suited to someone looking for an affordable modern classic or
a comfortable daily driver with character.
Please beware the SRS system is showing on the
dashboard that it requires a service and the brake pad low warning
light is flashing up.
