Barn find;
stored in a garage for over ten years; 7 Owners; currently a non runner but
vendor thinks this can be rectified with a new fuel pump and a little bit of
tlc; muast be viewed; showing just 55,000 miles
This 1981 MGB GT is a true classic for enthusiasts and collectors
alike. This example has had seven former keepers and has been in the current
owner’s care since April 2010. Powered by a 1,798cc engine, this MGB GT first
hit the road in February 1981 and comes finished in a striking red over orange
and brown cloth interior, though records show it was previously brown as of June
2014.
This car is a genuine barn find, having
spent over a decade stored in a dusty garage, making it a rare opportunity for
restoration. It is currently not running, with the vendor noting that a new fuel
pump should have it coughing back into life.
Despite needing
attention, the MGB GT presents a largely complete project, offering a fantastic
chance to own and restore a piece of British motoring
history.
