First registered
in May 1980, this MGB MkIII Roadster has been in the current ownership since
2019. It comes with two A4 sheets documenting regular maintenance from 2019 to
the present, along with several receipts for newly fitted parts, providing a
clear record of its care and upkeep.
Adding to the car’s sporty appeal,
it features a Mota-Lita steering wheel and rides on a set of Minilite-style
alloys. The original Rostyle wheels are also included, allowing for versatility
in styling. For comfort during hot summer motoring, the car has an upgraded
Kenlowe fan system. In 2022, the underbody received a full Lanoguard spray
treatment to ensure protection against corrosion and the elements.
Other
notable features include a stainless steel exhaust, a Mohair roof, and a body
that has never been welded, highlighting the car’s originality and structural
integrity.
Recently driven 80 miles to the sale, the car starts promptly
and runs smoothly, demonstrating its reliable condition.
