The 993 generation, introduced in
1994, represented the final development of the air-cooled 911 and is widely regarded as
one of the most complete iterations of the model. With its improved
multi-link rear suspension, tighter build
quality and more refined road manners, it bridged the classic and modern eras of
Porsche engineering. Compact, beautifully made and still unmistakably analogue,
the 993 has become one of the most sought-after variants among
enthusiasts.
This 1995 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 is a six-speed
manual example powered
by the 3.6-litre flat-six and driving all four wheels,
finished in Basalt Black with a contrasting grey leather interior. It presents
well, sitting on a set of very attractive alloy wheels that complement the
car’s purposeful stance. Fitted with a
sunroof and desirable Sports hardback seats, it also has factory Sports
suspension (option 030) and an aftermarket sports exhaust which provides a
wonderful sound track.
