Driven here
over 75 miles; MOTd until July 2026; Compass Drifter; no advisories on last MOT;
new fridge fitted; history file accompanied the sale
First registered in September 1997, this Peugeot Boxer 320 LWB
Compass Drifter motorhome represents a wonderfully honest slice of late-1990s
touring freedom. Finished in white and powered by the dependable 2446cc diesel
engine paired with a manual transmission, it has had nine former keepers and has
been in the current ownership since October 2023.
A recent highlight is the fitment of a brand-new fridge at a cost of
£700, enhancing its usability for extended trips. The motorhome is supplied with
a history file containing invoices and records detailing some of the work
carried out over the years, adding reassurance to its story. The MOT runs until
July 2026 and was passed with no advisories.
On
the road, it was driven over 75 miles to the sale, starting, running, and
stopping exactly as expected while photographs and video were taken. There are a
few areas of light rust beginning to show around the body, though nothing
considered excessive for its age, and the side air vent has been temporarily
blocked to prevent a draft.
Offered as an ideal
opportunity for UK adventures or European holidays, with spring just around the
corner, this Compass Drifter invites its next custodian to enjoy classic
motorhome travel in a straightforward, usable package.
