Volkswagen 11-window Split Screen Camper, featuring the original tin top and
currently set up as a Day Van. This iconic VW has had just two former keepers
since its import to the UK, and it remains classed as a motor caravan on the
V5C. Powered by a 1600cc engine, the van is finished in a striking white over
blue and was first registered in the UK in August
2008.
Having spent approximately the
last three years in storage, the van has recently been fitted with a new battery
and is now running, starting, and stopping on site for viewing and filming.
Included with the sale is a comprehensive report from the renowned VOLKSMAGIC
Ltd, dating back to 2009, alongside receipts for some of the work carried out
over the years, providing a detailed history of care and
maintenance.
A large number of books
related to the Volkswagen Classic Scene over the years accompany the
sale.
