Prepped for some serious mud-plugging with many upgrades; large file
of invoices; ALRC Competition Log Book, winter is coming!
First registered
in June 1966, this Land Rover S1 80” petrol has been modified over the years for
competitive off-road use with various special features and upgrades. There are
loads of invoices from 2014 onwards for work carried out and new parts
fitted.
It has a Competition Log Book issued by
the Association of Land Rover Clubs in September 2021 and there is also an ALRC
Scrutineering Check Sheet from the same date (see photos).
The roll cage, Kenlowe fan, additional dash electrics, fuel tank
behind the front seats and front/rear Witter tow balls are plain to see, but no
doubt there are many other mods that the trained eye can spot. There are too
many invoices to summarise all the work done to the vehicle here, so do come and
take a look for yourselves.
An original canvas
tilt is present but this only fits if the roll cage is removed. An outdoor car
cover is also included (see photos).
Starting
promptly and running well as we have moved it around on site, this beefed up
Landy looks like a lot of fun and will be a handy bit of kit to have around over
the coming winter months.
