Description
Only 72,934 miles; advisory-free MOT; ready to enjoy for the
upcoming summer.
The W170-platform SLK230 Kompressor was introduced in 1997 to compete
with the Porsche Boxster and BMW Z3. Setting it apart was the ingenious folding
electric hardtop, the balletic operation of which never ceases to delight
onlookers. It wasn’t just about posing either, under the bonnet lurked a
seriously pokey 2.3-litre supercharged four-cylinder engine that produced a
meaty 193bhp. Allied to a five-speed automatic transmission, it endowed the car
with a 0-60 time of just 7.2 seconds and a top speed of
149mph.
This March 2000 example has covered 72,934 miles from new,
unfortunately most of the history has been lost over the years but there a
couple of receipts showing the car was serviced in 2009 and 2011 and 12 old
MOTs substantiate the mileage.
It has multiple
ownership history and is currently MOTd until September 2025 with no
advisories recorded.Ready for immediate use, it will make fine transport in the
summer months ahead.
These SLKs really are fantastic cars to drive and
this electric blue example with black leather upholstery makes a refreshing
change from the default Mercedes silver and grey colour combination. A quality
car that will satisfy any press-on driver, it looks great value at the modest
guide price suggested.
