Description
Recently recommissioned following a period in storage and has covered
3,000 miles since; twin carbs fitted
First
registered in Bristol in March 1961, this Rover P4 100 has been in the current
ownership since 2021, the V5C recording 10 former keepers. The MOT history shows
that it was off the road from 2010 – 2016, invoices showing that it was
recommissioned in 2017 with various new parts fitted and a full service, since
when it has covered around 3,000 miles. Interestingly it has twin SU carbs
fitted rather than the usual single carb.
Other invoices show subsequent upkeep: in 2018 the carbs were
cleaned out and it got a new fuel pump, overdrive relay, exhaust centre
silencer, a/r/b bush, fan belt and water hose kit. In 2021 the front brake hoses
were renewed and some work was also done on the front suspension to address some
MOT advisories.
As you can see in the photos,
it looks presentable with a nicely original red leather interior and has been
starting promptly and running sweetly as we have moved it around on
site.
