Originally a waterproofed and winterised 110 put into service in 1991;
civilian registered in 2001; more recently used for shooting parties;
lots spent on it in the last two years; well used example that runs
and drives
First registered as H731 XAB in 2001
by our vendor's father after being with the MoD since its approximate
manufacture in 1991.
Still present are some
military features including the obvious colour scheme, but also the rear heating
elements and front rifle holders.
Within the
file of paperwork are a bundle of receipts dating from 2019 to 2022, which
documents MOTs, but also replacement of an off side front track rod end,
overhaul of brakes, replaced bulbs, oil changes, exhaust replacement, welding to
out rigger and chassis and the replacement of the gearbox
crossmember.
Used predominantly on a farm for
shooting parties, it is not pretty, but it is a working tool and deserves to
have some more use as time goes on.
