Lovely Cambiocorsa F1 paddle-shift example showing just under 25,000
miles with Crema interior and low reported cutch wear
Dating from September 2003 this pretty Maserati Spyder (Tipo
M138)  is finished in traditional
Rosso Mondiale with contrasting Black Mohair hood and sits upon its original 18”
15-spoke alloy wheels and wears some removable gold racing stripes and number
roundels.
Under that lovely sculpted bonnet, we
find the Ferrari/Maserati group F136R 4.2-litre V8 engine which develops here,
385bhp and 491NM of torque driving the rear wheels via the CambioCorsa six speed
sequential gearbox with F1 paddles, Sport and automatic
modes.
Inside the plush cabin, we find cream
leather seats which are electrically adjustable with driver memory, heated
seats, electric windows, electric mirrors, ASR, climate control with AC and
Maserati’s in-car entertainment centre with sat-nav and CD
changer.
The roof operation is electric, in
what looks like lovely order with a clean, clear plastic rear screen.
The car shows just 24,907 miles and presents
beautifully, starting and running well as we moved it around for these shots and
video.
The history file includes the V5C
showing four former keepers to our vendor, the last owner enjoying the car for
nine years and a regular owner’s club attendee.  In addition, we find the owner's pack
and service book revealing 14 stamps with the most recent service in July
2022.  We also find a selection of supporting bills including for the
last service which alo included  new front and rear pads plus a repair to a
roof lining cable and AC regas at a cost of £2,330 at Bob Houghton
Ferrari/Maserati specialist of Gloucestershire.
We are also told the nose
cone was re-painted due to stone chips and the grill was re-chromed to keep it
looking fresh.  We are also told the
car was last serviced in July 2022 with a good history file. The clutch wear is
reported to be only c.27% worn which also bodes well.
The MOT is valid until the 6th July 2023 and recorded no
advisories.  We also note fitment of
a bespoke Perspex wind deflector to aid wind stability in the cabin and
inclusion of a pair of four new spare brake discs in the boot along with tool
kit and indoor cover.
Ready to be enjoyed,
these Spyders offer much performance and style for a modest outlay and with the
private plate shown included, no-one will be any the wiser to its
age.
