2004 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S (996)

Late face-lift 3.6 315bhp all-wheel drive wide-body 'S' with turbo body, brakes & suspension; smart auto/tiptronic example showing 103,960 miles thats seen only 850 miles use in the last 3 years

Dating from March 2004 this appealing Porsche 911 comes to us in desirable Carrera 4S guise – meaning the wider body from the Turbo model along with the Turbo’s brakes, suspension and wheels.

Under the engine cover (at the rear) we find the 3.6 litre flat-six engine which develops 315Bhp driving all-four wheels via five-speed automatic transmission with Tiptronic facility for manual changes via the gear lever or buttons on the steering wheel.

The car is finished in grey and looks to be in standard spec, retaining its 18” staggered fitment Turbo alloy wheels.

Inside the cockpit, we find black leather comfort spec seats with electric adjustment, contrasting bright blue seat belts, electric windows, electric mirrors, PCM module with sat nav etc, digital climate control with AC, stability control, heated rear window, rear wiper (yes, that’s an option), sunroof and heated front seats.

We were unable to spec this example because the ID and spec sticker usually found on the underside of the bonnet was not present.

The car has covered an indicated 103,960 miles which have been covered by the current lady owner of eight years and seven former keepers.  The car presents well, although we did note some colour difference on the front bumper to the wings/bonnet as pictured.

The history file is sparse and contains only the V5C and two bills including a £1,961 spend at Hereford independent Specialist Gerry Dovermans which saw the car treated to a 10,000 mile service, new tyres, new coils and plugs and two rear tyres in July 2017 at 102,033 miles and 2^nd invoice for alloy wheel refurbishment in 2019 costing £486.

The current MOT although not on file is valid until February 2023 and recorded just two minor advisories.  The MOT history shows the car to have covered just 600 miles between the last two MOTs in 2019 and last in 2022.
