Dating from April 2006 this is a 2^nd Generation Z40 face-lift example and features of course, the clever folding metal roof which aimed it squarely at the Mercedes SL buyer.  Finished in an attractive metallic brown the car sits on its original 18” five-spoke alloy wheels and looks an eyeful of a car.

Under the bonnet, lives the powerful 4.3 litre 3UZ-FE V8 engine petrol engine which develops 288bhp and 430NM of torque driving the rear wheels via six-speed automatic/tiptronic transmission.

Inside, we find cream leather, light wood trim, electric seats, half timbered steering wheel, sat nav, automatic digital climate control with AC, original radio/cassette/CD player with Mark Levinson sound system, heated seats, traction control and no doubt an array of other gadgets.

The car shows 91,385 miles and comes to us from a deceased estate, the registration pictured has now been retained and the car returned to its original age-related registration MF06HLM.

The history file includes three old MOTs and a selection of older bills including replacement key and four new tyres in 2018. The current MOT is valid until May 2023 and recorded no advisories. 

The replacement V5C showing five former keepers is enroute to us from DVLA and some new replacement number plates are in the car ready for the new owner.

Bidders please note, the car was recorded cat-D in 2015, the Experian report also shows a colour change from Black to Brown (the engine bay remains black) in 2016 which may, or may not be related to the insurance write-off.
