Dating from May 1999, this versatile Skoda Felicia Fun pick-up is of course, finished in yellow with Mustard coloured accents, sills, wheel arch lips and bumpers, traditional half yellow leather interior and a pair of hidden, fold out rear seats – ideal for kids and summer use.

Under the bonnet, we find the 74bhp 1.6-litre 8 valve Mpi engine driving the front wheels via 5-speed manual transmission (the only options for the ‘Fun’).

Perceived and offered as a ‘Lifestyle’ choice it was a little outside of VW’s usual thinking at the time, with a limited run of 3,000 planned for the UK, however so popular was it, that 4,000 ended up being sold here.

This example comes to us from an enthusiast of the model, the other example earlier in the catalogue also hailing from the same source in Scotland and both are in a similar state with similarly low mileage.

Showing just 61,342 miles the pick-up would no doubt benefit from some light cosmetic improvement to the exterior, load area and interior which given it's bright colour often suffers from signs of age and wear, as well as a timing belt service given there is no evidence of it being changed.

The history file includes the V5C showing 7 former keepers, , brochures and club literature and bill for annual service and other minor works dated Oct/Nov 2014 at 61,341 miles and sole invoice for a wheel bearing of the same date.  An online MOT check reveals the current MOT is valid until December 2022 recording 3 advisories for an oil leak, number plate deterioration and cracking/perished OSR tyre.  The MOT history shows the vehicle to have covered little mileage since 2013 when the MOT recorded 61,337 miles from when it looks to have been off the road until 2018 (take a look online at check-mot.service.gov.uk and enter the reg).

Lots of Fun potential for sure and an interesting investment given what these funky pick-ups have been making in recent times - it looks an enticing prospect.
