Supplied new in February 1999 this pre-face-lift example of the popular R170 series SLK comes fitted with the potent supercharged 2.3 litre four-cylinder engine developing 193bhp, offering V6 performance but with 4-pot economy. The official figures were 0-60 in 7.2 seconds and a top speed of 149mph, driving through 5-speed automatic transmission with Winter and Sport modes.

Finished in brilliant silver with charcoal/grey cloth interior and carbon-effect trim, it rides on 7-spoke original equipment alloy wheels and features the ingenious electrically operated folding metal roof which always amazes onlookers and still works perfectly.

It has covered 106,000 miles in the hands of four owners (the current since 2011) and comes with a good service history comprising 10 stamps to date, the last at 91,052 miles in September 2016. Starting promptly and running well as we have moved it around on site with a very sporting exhaust note, it has an MOT until May 2022 with just one advisory recorded and retains its original bookpack.
