Description
1993 Jaguar XJ12 Auto
No
Reserve
Owned since 2004 within a private collection;
showing just under 100,000 miles with only three owners since 1998; runs and
drives, last MOT expired in 2007; LPG tank fitted in boot
This XJ12 was fully
serviced by Jaguar from its first 10,000 appointment in 1994 until 2000, by
which time it had covered 77,000 miles. Over the next two decades, it
barely added 1,000 miles per year - its current mileage reading 99,984
miles.
We don't know when the
LPG tank was fitted, the sticker in the rear screen indicating it was done
by Blaze Gas Conversions in Gloucestershire. The tank is neatly disguised as the
spare wheel, so although it might be rather annoying if you have a puncture, you
may at least be able to keep the engine running to stay warm while you wait for
help.
The V5C shows five
previous keepers, our vendor having owned it since 2004. It was occasionally
driven and kept on the road until its last MOT in 2007. Since then, it
has been sitting in the vendor's large collection of vehicles
undercover and sheltered from the elements, but as you can see from the video,
runs and drives but will need the usual recommissioning.
L142 XCV is offered
here with no reserve so what better way to take your chances and get your hands
on a six-litre Kingfisher blue wild
cat?
